Iteration 2 started


The release delays certainly took the wind from my sails, but I'm back into proper development now, looking at the procedural level creation and the star map in particular. I'm thinking the player needs to find a route through a random spread of stars, with available paths winding their way through the stars. Finding a way to create this randomised map is proper coding problem solving, which is kinda interesting and fun. I'm thinking create a path first and randomise suitable stars and branched paths from that. Feeling pretty confident that randomised levels will be more like two weeks than a month.
