Morning report
The elements needed for the next release are in, meaning it's just tidying and balancing that's needed, but these are actually very challenging. Okay, not the tidying which is just a matter of playing, creating lists of stuff to do, and changing them. But the balancing aspect isn't something you can calculate. I consider it like writing a story, where you want a solid idea in your head of how the whole thing fits together. I have the plot - There are these elements of money and resources and costs to build ships, and a simple, tactical game of building resources - but the specifics of how they fit together are elusive.
I'll add a treasure ship, like the treasure goblins in Diablo 3, and see what I release with. The end game may be quite different.
