Daily - 14 hours updating AI
A quick job adding targetable objectives (a base you need to protect) turned into a significant overhaul of the AI when I noticed my aliens dumbly flew into rocks. Debugging led to the realisation that my code was plain broke, and I don't know how it ever could have worked! The tricky part with AI of this sort is the path finding, which doesn't return a path immediately but 'when it's ready', so you need to keep watch on when paths are ready and what you're doing.
Tired now! But it's done, and the public alpha will be ready by August. At last!
